"Ginny" was born December 25, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to Robert and Octavia Marian Callahan Wieland.

She was a retired office manager for the Melbourne Kidney Center in Melbourne, FL.

She was a talented quilter and creator of Teddy Bears, and active in the Quilters Guild in Bradenton, FL. She enjoyed her time spent with friends of the Ramblin' Roses Red Hat Society, and friends and neighbors at the Villager in Bradenton, FL.

She had fun celebrating her 80th birthday by receiving gifts on each of the "Twelve Days of Ginny's Birthday", culminating with the surprising receipt of cards from friends such as Betty White, Bea Arthur, Angela Lansbury, Bill Cosby, Carol Burnett, Mary Higgins Clark, Maya Angelou and many others.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael H. "Mickey" Kramer in 1990; a son, Thomas Joseph Kramer in February of 2011, and a brother, Robert Wieland.

Ginny is survived by her son, John Francis Kramer of Palm Bay, FL; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary K. and Mark Asma of Covington, with whom she made her home; beloved grandchildren, Michael and Kristen Asma of Clifton Forge, Maresa Asma of White Plains, NY, Benjamin Asma of Boone, NC, John Kramer and Erin Kramer and their mother, Sandra Schweizer of Palm Bay, FL; devoted brother, Harold and wife, Annie Wieland of Hilton Head, SC; sisters-in-law, Lucretia G. Kramer of Mattituck, NY, Vivian Kramer of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Elin Wieland of Belin, NM; her husband, Ronald Burke of Bradenton, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Clifton Forge with Father Tom Collins officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery in Palm Bay, FL. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.

Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is in charge of arrangements. Ginny always welcomed friends, family and neighbors to share a meal at her table, so, in lieu of flowers, donations to your local food pantries in her name would be appreciated.
