Ollie Grant Bryant, Jr., 74, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home.

Born July 29, 1936 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Ollie Grant Bryant, Sr. and Effie Sharp Bryant.

Mr. Bryant attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for Holland's Contractors for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Bryant; one son, Ollie Dean Bryant and wife, Kim of Albemarle, NC; two daughters, Laurie Bryant Traywick and husband, Zack of Morgantown, NC; Nancy Bryant Jackson and husband, Daryl of Badin, NC; one brother, Norman Bryant of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Sarah Wilhelm of Lexington, VA; Shirley Wilhelm of Natural Bridge, VA; Ruth Coleman of Buena Vista, VA; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rudy Hilderbrand officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
