Gregory Earl (Honk) Moore, 56, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died April 19, 2011 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. Born December 12, 1954 in Lexington, a son of the late Calvin E. Moore and Kathleen Bradner Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lee Moore. Surviving are one brother, Danny C. Moore and wife, Vergie; one niece, Corey Ann Matteson and husband, Jeff, both of Lexington; one nephew, Jeremy S. Moore and wife, Lori of Staunton; two great nephews, LCPL Matthew Matteson USMC of Afghanistan and Justin Matteson of Lexington.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Michael Wilburn officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at Lexington Baptist Church. The family received friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
