Obituary for Wade Maynard Clark Wade Maynard Clark
Self-Employed Logger Was Fairfield Resident

Wade Maynard Clark, 70, of Fairfield, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011.

Mr. Clark was born May 16, 1940, in Rockbridge County, the son of the late Odie Clark and Virginia Tyree Clark.

He was a member of Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church and was self-employed in the logging business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Clark and Margie Conner; and two brothers, Clyde Clark and Curtis Tyree.

Surviving Wade are his wife, Wanda Clark; two daughters, Sherry Yeatts, of Lynchburg, and Sonya Clark of Apex, N.C.; a stepson, Graham Moore Jr., of Glasgow; two brothers, Talmage Clark, of Harrisonburg, and Plen Clark, of Roanoke; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday April 26, 2011, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Cochran and the Rev. Carol Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
