Stacy Jay (Monkey) Brown, 51, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Sunday, April 24, 2011.

Born October 4, 1959 in Lexington, he was a son of the late James Melvin Brown and Beulah Clark Brown.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Brown and a son, Thomas James "TJ" Brown.

Surviving are his fiance, Brenda Ruley; two brothers, James Robin Brown and Tracy Brown; and one sister, Sheila Burke, all of Lexington.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Pastor Butch Grow officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service Buena Vista, VA.
