Obituary for Stella Ogden Camden Stella Ogden Camden
Was Employed At Burlington For 30 Years

Stella Ogden Camden, 97, of Glasgow, VA, died at Kendal in Lexington, VA on May 1, 2011.

She was born on May, 10, 1913 in Amherst, VA, a daughter of the late Charles William Ogden and Blanche Sandidge Ogden.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Camden; three brothers and four sisters and one granddaughter, Charlotte Lynne Camden.

She was employed by Burlington Industries for 30 years.

Mrs. Camden was an Honorary Life Member of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church and was the oldest living member of the congregation.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth R. Camden and wife, Sophie of Buena Vista, VA and Hilda C. Smiley and husband, Morris of Glasgow, VA, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one step grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Brian Weger officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lexington, VA.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington, VA.

She may be gone but not forgotten. We celebrate her life.
