Carolyn Leigh Swaim, 62, of Roanoke, died Monday, May 2, 2011, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 3, 1949 in Roanoke, a daughter of James H. and Betty H. Swaim of Moneta.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her two brothers, Gary H. Swaim of Moneta and James A. Swaim of Roanoke.
The funeral service was held Thursday afternoon at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Gillette officiating.
The family received their friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
