William Albert (Bill) Radford, 68, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at his home.

Born April 29, 1943 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Francis Radford and Tokie Thompson Radford.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son, William Douglas Radford, and a brother, Charles Radford.

Mr. Radford was a member of the Lexington 1700 Moose Lodge and retired from Modine Manufacturing after many years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine (Cathy/Cat) Radford; two sisters, Mattie Sanderson and husband, James; Margaret Sorrells and husband, Andrew; special daughter, Cindy Taylor; and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
