Eric Edward Henson, 56, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at UVA Hospital.

Born February 14, 1955 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Curtis M. Henson and Florence Armstrong Henson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Milton L. Henson and one sister, Cherry H. Scott.

Surviving are one niece, Tamera Hickman and husband, Larry; one nephew, and a special cousin.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Christian Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
