Louanna Clark Parker, 91, of Lakeland Florida, formerly of Waynesboro, VA, entered into heaven's gates June 10, 2011.

Mrs. Parker was born July 4, 1919 in Rockbridge County, Va.

She left this world in peace amongst family and friends in Lakeland Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Liza Jane Pultz and William McDowell Clark of Glasgow, Va. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Parker Sr. of Waynesboro Va., a deceased and sadly missed daughter, Shirley Ann Allen.

She was the last surviving sibling of her family of 10.

Also greeting her in heaven are her sisters, Carrie Lee Hostetter, Mary Jane Noel, and brothers, Tully Richard Clark, Ashby Lincoln Clark, Adolphes Wade Clark, Ellis Berry Clark, Joseph Joe Clark, Budd Donald Clark, and Wilton Clark, who died as an infant.

Louanna is survived by a daughter, Esther M. Parker Yu of Lakeland Fla.; three sons James F. Parker Jr., Edward Lee Parker Both of Lakeland Fla, Jerry W. Parker of Fishersville, Va.; 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She left behind countless friends and church family friends. Mrs. Parker has always been one of god's children and willing to show it. Her pallbearers will be family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Presnell officiating. Burial will follow in Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation services, Buena Vista, VA.
