Mary Frances Davis, 58, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at her home.

Born May 15, 1953 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis Jefferson, Sr. and Josie Elizabeth Dock Jefferson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Davis and a brother, Richard Leeroy Jefferson.

Surviving are two brothers, Thomas Lewis Jefferson and wife, Maria Aldana of Orlando, FL and Vernon Thomas Fitzgerald of Lexington; a sister, Mamie M. Henderson of Lexington, and a host of Stewart, Dock, Jefferson and Henderson family.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. David Bain officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
