Abigail Saleen Rapp, infant daughter of James Brady Rapp of Covington and Deanna Lynne Grimes of Clifton Forge, Virginia, died at birth on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James E. and Caroline F. Rapp.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal family: grandparents, William Cary and Becky Grimes of Clifton Forge; and uncles and aunts, William and Melissa Cary, and Michael and Renae Grimes, and her paternal family: four aunts, Caressa Burch, Ashlee Downey, Felicia Downey, and Marie Simmons; four uncles, Erik Crawford, J. T. May, John Woods, and Jody Wright; and a number of cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Locust Bottom Cemetery, Botetourt County, with Reverend Lester Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
