Obituary for Timothy McCoy Timothy McCoy
Air Force Veteran Lived In Roanoke Most Of His Life

Timothy McCoy, 75, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, July 29, 2011 in the Golden Living Center, Clifton Forge.

Tim was born February 15, 1936 in Princeton, W.Va.

He attended school in Blacksburg, graduating from Blacksburg High School in 1954 and soon thereafter joined the Air Force. Following an honorable discharge, he settled in Roanoke where he spent most of his life.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman William McCoy,; two sisters, Janith Hope McCoy, and Dolores McCoy Lustic.

He is survived by a son, Billy; and a daughter, Sabrina, who live in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area; a brother, John Allen McCoy of Carlisle, Pa.; a sister, Peggy McCoy Harper of New York, N.Y.; four nieces, Vicki McCoy Ciecierski, Leslie Harper Aldrich, Mendy McCoy Harmon, and Susan McCoy Nichols; and three nephews, Wayne Harper, Andy Lustic and Gary Lustic.

Graveside services and interment will be at the National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap, Pa. at a later date.

The Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge is assisting the family.
