Dirk Lorenzo Dock, 54, of Lexington, Virginia, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his home.

Born July 12, 1957 in Lexington, VA, he was a son of the late Raymond Bannister and Mildred Dock.

Surviving are his sister, Lisa Dock Taylor of Glade Springs, VA; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Tinsley officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
