Rockbridge Native Was Retired Modine Machine Operator

Wilton Abraham (Boy) Hotinger, Jr., 76, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at his home.

Born February 10, 1935 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Wilton Abraham Hotinger, Sr. and Mary Katherine Knick Hotinger.

Mr. Hotinger was a member of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, past member of the FFA and the Virginia Forestry Service.

Wilton retired from Modine Manufacturing in Buena Vista as a machine operator.

Surviving are one son, Phillip Ray Hotinger of Big Bear, CA; one brother, Ray Hotinger of Fairfield; five sisters, Ellen Mitchell, Carrie VanNess, Margaret Deacon, and Susie Emore, all of Lexington, and Libby Clinton of Mississippi; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Debbie Patterson, Troy Hickman, and Dexter Hartbarger; and a canine friend, Joy.

A graveside service will be conducted 4 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Deacon Cemetery with the Pastor Doug Mitchell officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
