Obituary for Arthur Ray Latham Arthur Ray Latham
West Virginia Native Worked With Goshen Awnings Business

Arthur Ray Latham, 69, of Glasgow, Virginia, formerly of Goshen, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his home.

Born November 13, 1941 in Kopperston, WV, he was a son of the late Ulyses Latham and Ludia F. Roberson Latham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald B. Latham, and a niece, Wanda Lucas.

Mr. Latham was a member of the Goshen Baptist Church, the VFW, served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and worked for his family business, Latham Shade and Awnings (that manufactured shades and awnings in Goshen, VA) for many years.

Surviving are two nephews, Donald Latham of Marbury, MD., and Ronald Latham of Laplata, MD.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tyler Clem officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
