Louella Kathleen Snider, 60, of Lexington, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
Born November 30, 1950 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of Kathleen Hartless Snider of Lexington and the late Melvin Augustus Snider.
Surviving are one son, Boyce Benton, III of Lexington; one daughter, Virginia Higgins of NC; two sisters, Doris S. Barger of Natural Bridge, and Joyce A. Snider of MD; one brother, Jesse M. Snider of Staunton; two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Ludwick Cemetery in Fairfield, VA with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling, III officiating. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
