Charles Edward Price, Sr., 71, of Christiansburg, Virginia, died, Friday October 7, 2011 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Christiansburg.

He was born August 29, 1940 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Lacy E. Price and Violet Mays Price Ford.

Mr. Price retired as a truck driver with North American Van Lines.

Surviving are two sons, Chuckie Price, Jr. and Todd Price, both of Covington; two daughters, Trina Davis of Covington and Debbie Booze and her husband, Henry of Fincastle; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Price and his wife, Betty and David Price, all of Covington; one sister, Carolyn Robinson and her husband, David of Charleston, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Sunday evening at Arritt Funeral Home and will at other times at the residence of Trina Davis at 903 W. Jackson Street, Covington.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edith Snedegar officiating.

The interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
