Miller Allen Crush, III, 72, of 222 East Gordon Street, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Crush was born October 7, 1939, in Covington, a son of the late Miller A. "Bud" Crush, Jr. and Elsie Taylor Crush.

He was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church and of the Men's Bible Class of the church.

He had retired after many years as the owner and operator of Crush's Barber Shop in Covington.

Surviving are several cousins, friends and special caregivers including, Paul Dameron, Ethan Howard, Kim Howard, Margaret Wilhelm, and Alta Wolfe.

Friends may pay their respects at any time at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Arritt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev Bill Gilliland officiating.

Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends attending the service.
