Obituary for Stanley Eugene Wright Stanley Eugene Wright
Immanuel Baptist Church Member Was MW Team Leader On No. 1 Paper Machine

Stanley Eugene Wright, Sr., age 71, of 1039 Cliftwood Circle, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at his residence.

Stanley was born February 8, 1940 in Craig County, Virginia, to Thomas D. Jones and Pauline Campbell Jones.

He worked for MeadWestvaco for 40 years, and was team leader on the #1 paper machine.

He served in the Virginia National Guard for six years and attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Terrie Staton Wright of Clifton Forge; his mother, Pauline Campbell Jones of Clifton Forge; a daughter, Lynda Pezzella and husband, Thomas of Street, MD; a son, Gene Wright and wife, Robin of Clifton Forge; a sister, Patricia W. McNair and husband, Johnny of Spotsylvania; four brothers, Dennis Jones and wife, Angela of Covington, Mickey Wright and wife, Donna of Jamestown, NC, Michael Dorman and wife, Geneva of Christiansburg, and John Myers and wife, Rachel of Blacksburg; four grandchildren, Cory Wright, Carrigan Wright, Matthew Pezzella, and Jacob Pezzella; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Bill Hartsfield and Reverend John Burns officiating. Interment followed in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers were LeRoy Morgan, Chuck Hodges, Steve Caldwell, Mike Brown, Mac Campbell, Joe Carpenter, Ralph Hamilton, Mike Smith, and Jeff Dudley. The family received friends Friday evening at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad, P.O.
