Charles (Chuck) Edward Lawhorn Sr., of Clifton Forge, Virginia, born on February 23, 1951, went home to be with the Lord in peace on October 22, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse James Campbell; mother, Tulip Crowder; brother, Milton Lawhorn and sister, Shirley (Sam) Peters.
He is survived by his son, Charles "Chucky" Edward Lawhorn Jr. and his wife, Missy; daughter, Angela "Angye" Hoback and special son-in-law, Chris Hoback; grandchildren, Charles Edward "Trey" Lawhorn III, Autumn Hoback and Faith Lawhorn, all of Roanoke; brothers, Billy Lawhorn, of Clifton Forge, James Lawhorn, of Clifton Forge; sister, Sue Richard, of Roanoke, Freda Overton, of Clifton Forge and Possum Garrett.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Jesse Painter.
Services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roanoke City Rescue Mission.
Arrangements are being handled by Family Choice Funerals and Cremations.
