Margaret Wolfe Lee, 91, of 500 Summit Drive, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Lewis Gale ĞAlleghany Hospital.
She was born January 22, 1920, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Wolfe Wolfe.
Mrs. Lee was an employee of the former Industrial Rayon Corp.
She was a member of the Pinnell Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan W. Lee , Sr. in 2007 and also by four sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Ginny Crowder of Covington; two sons, Robert Lee and his wife, Debbie and Nathan Lee, Jr. and his wife, Trudy, all of Covington;
six grandchildren; Chris and Pauline Lee of Victoria, Australia; Deena Lee; Robin and Robert Jackson; Jason and Roseann Lee and Angie and Melvin Campbell, all of Covington; and Jay and Rebecca Crowder of Fincastle; four great grandchildren: Tyler Jackson, Markell Wood, Sarah Crowder, and David Crowder; one sister, Daisy Blankenship of Covington; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Nancy Hubbard officiating, assisted by the Rev. David Brown.
Active pallbearers will be Tracy Haynes, Carl Tingler, Melvin Campbell, Robert Jackson, Mike Carson, Jared Gillespie and Josh Campbell. Alternates will be Jason Lee and Jay Crowder.
Family and friends will gather at Arritt Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. to go to the cemetery on Friday and at other times the family will be at the residence of Robert and Debbie Lee at 5207 Rich Patch Road.
