Hazel Elmore Bush, 92, of Dunbar, WV, and formerly of Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Golden Living Center Riverside in St. Albans, WV.

She was born August 7, 1919 in Selma, Virginia, a daughter of the late Preston B. and Mary Lee Leffell Elmore.

Mrs. Bush was a child care provider in her home for many years. She was a Christian and was a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin L. Bush and one brother.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Clarence Livesay of Charlottesville; one son and daughter-in-law that Mrs. Bush made her home with for 17 years, Ronald and Sharon Bush of Dunbar, WV; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Crawford of Cary, NC and Clara Abbott of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at Arritt Funeral Home.

The interment will follow in Persinger Memorial Cemetery.
