Nervie Althea Plogger, 82, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Heritage Hall.

Born March 21, 1929 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Preston Plogger and Sarah Jane Hostetter Plogger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Surviving are her siblings, Oscar C. Plogger, Richard D. Plogger, Clarence E. Plogger, Emmett L. Plogger, Ethel P. Henricks, and Mabel P. Hartbarger, all of Lexington, VA; Melvin T. Plogger of New Market, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
