Martha Christine Bradley Snider, 88, of Waynesboro, Virginia, died Tuesday November 22, 2011 at Shenandoah House in Fisherville.

Born July 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Bradley and Pearl Fauber Bradley in Montebello, VA.

Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Fishersville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis Snider Sr., and a son, John Edward Snider; brothers, Herman, Wilson, Lyle, and Lambert Bradley; sisters, Heilda Snider, Hazel Tinsley, Aileen Carver.

Surviving are her two sons, James Davis Snider Jr. of Waynesboro and Glen W. Snider of Natural Bridge; one sister, Zelda Sizer Knight; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Larry W. Nolff officiating. Burial will follow at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
