Obituary for Paul John Malina, Jr. Paul John Malina, Jr.
New Jersey Native Was Covington Resident

Paul John Malina, Jr., of 4700 Midland Trail, Covington, Virginia, died Monday November 28, 2011 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor.

He was born January 28, 1952 in Hoboken, NJ, a son of Paul John Malina, Sr. of Clifton, New Jersey, and the late Marceline Ziegler Malina and second mother, the late Isel Malina.

Paul was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Kruse Malina of Covington; four sons, Peter Malina of Covington; Paul John Malina III and wife, Lillian of Roanoke; Richard Malina of Great Falls. MT; and Allan Malina and wife, Pam of Spout Springs, VA; three daughters, Marceline Goff and husband, Wesley of Moneta; Shannon Malina and Heather Malina of Fayetteville, NC ; twelve grandchildren; and one sister, Susan Romanoski and her husband, John of Nutley, NJ.

A funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Collins officiating. The interment will be made in the Mt. Loretto Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.

A Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Arritt Funeral Home. Following the Rosary, the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
