Homemaker Was Active Moose Lodge Member

Carol Ross Wills, 75, of 3219 Douthat Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Saturday evening, December 3, 2011, at her residence.

She was born in Alleghany County, Virginia on July 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Codie and Evelyn Clark Ross.

She was a homemaker, an active member of the Clifton Forge Moose Lodge, Women of the Moose, and enjoyed all types of arts and crafts.

She was a member of the Lone Star Advent Christian Church in Nicelytown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wills in 1986.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Lawrence Dudley of Clifton Forge and Crystal and Ray Mason of Meriden, Conn.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clifton and Holly Wills and Calvin and Lauren Wills, all of Meriden, Conn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Donald Franklin and Nancy and Gary Kilian, all of Clifton Forge, and Norma Dressler of Millboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Codie Ross, Jr. "C.A." and Linda of Keyser, West Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Marie Wills-Gottlieb of Clifton Forge; a special friend, Robert "Bobby" Burns of Clifton Forge; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles B. Wills, Jr.; a granddaughter, Dianne Mason; and a sister, Sandra Chandler.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Advent Christian Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends of the family.

Friends may call any time at the home of Connie and Lawrence Dudley, C4, Douthat Mobile Home Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.

The family suggest memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Ronald McDonald House, 2224 South Jefferson Street, Roanoke, Va. 24014.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is in charge of arrangements.
