Lexington Native Was 2011 Stuarts Draft High School Graduate

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, Travis Blake Smith, 18, of 23 South View Drive, Waynesboro, Virginia, went to meet our Lord, and made all in Heaven smile Saturday December 03, 2011.

He was born December 9, 1992 in Lexington, VA. He is the son of Stephen William Jessie Reed and Jessica Leigh Smith Reed and Thomas Scott Wright.

He was a 2011 graduate of Stuarts Draft High School, where he was a member of FFA, football, and track teams.

Travis worked for Shenandoah Tower Service.

He enjoyed every aspect of being a great outdoorsman.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother and father, Jessica Leigh Smith Reed and Stephen William Jessie Reed of Waynesboro and Thomas Scott Wright of Fishersville; six brothers, Corbin Marshall Reed, Dylan Andrew Reed, Hunter Wright, Zach Wright, Tristan Campbell, and Mike Campbell; three sisters, Katie Nicole Reed, Allie Campbell, and Katie Bottenfield; his grandmothers and grandfathers, Sharon and Bernard Moulton, Debbi and Stephen Reed, "Granny" Dot and Poppaw Tom Woods, Sharon Burkes; his great-grandmother, "Granny" Mil Floyd and her late husband, Harry Marshall Floyd; uncles and aunts: Wayne, Jennifer, Jamie, Rajeana, Candice, and many more aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind his beloved girlfriend, Ashley Bartley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 8, 2011 at McDow Funeral Home.

On December 9, 1992, we were blessed with Travis. On December 9, 2011 we will return him to our Lord.

A celebration of Travis' life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m.. Friday December 9, 2011 at McDow Funeral Home by Pastor William Crawford. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be John Wright, Jon Via, Joshua Wright, Larry Hazlewood, Cody Smith, and Nicholas Hamner.
