Alma Olivia Nicely Tuttle, 89, of 94 Ridgeline Drive, London, Kentucky, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London.

She was a former resident of Clifton Forge, Virginia.

She was born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, on August 29, 1922, a daughter of the late Wilkie Aaron Nicely, Sr. and Della Mae Hayslett Nicely.

She worked as office manager in the printing business for a number of years.

She loved animals of all types and attended the Central Advent Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Donald Tuttle in April of 1998.

Mrs. Tuttle is survived by a host of nieces and nephews descending from her immediate family.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Nicely Henson and Aurelia Nicely Dame, and by brothers, James Douglas Nicely, Ralph Nicely, Wilkie Aaron Nicely, Jr. and Maynard Edgar Nicely.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Dodd officiating. Interment will be made in the Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

The family will receive friends at Nicely Funeral Home immediately following the service.
