Jason Melvin Seaman, 31, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at home.

Born May 21, 1980 in Alleghany County, he was a son of Julian Massie "Pete" Seaman and Virginia Marlene Miller Seaman of Clifton Forge.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julian and Madge Seaman and Melvin Miller.

He was a member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Lindsay L. Seaman; two special boys, Austyn Christman and Zachary Christman and a girlfriend, Heather Christman, all of Clifton Forge; grandmother, Mamie Miller of Lexington; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling, III officiating. Burial will follow at Broad Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA
