Obituary for Mary Reynolds Morgan Mary Reynolds Morgan
Retired Mizzie Corp. Inspector Was Well-Known Nicelytown Homemaker

Mary Reynolds Morgan, age 92, of The Highland House, 3501 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of Morgan Drive, Clifton Forge, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at The Highland House.

Born March 7, 1919 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, Mary was a daughter of the late Charlie and Grace Hickman Reynolds.

She was a retired inspector for Mizzie Corp, and a homemaker throughout her life.

She was a member of Lone Star Advent Christian Church, where she belonged to the Ladies Bible Class and the W.H.F.M.S. of the church.

She enjoyed gardening, and although she never had children of her own, was like a mother to many in the Nicelytown Community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lewis Morgan in 1993; three sisters, Nellie Acres, Bessie Duncan, and Vernie Beard; and five brothers, Albert Reynolds, Roy Reynolds, Harry Reynolds, Elmer Reynolds, and Charlie Reynolds.

She is survived by a brother, Calvin Reynolds of Lexington, many nieces and nephews, other family members, a special friend, Alice Lair, and friends at The Highland House and Mountain Regional Hospice.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Lone Star Advent Christian Church, Nicelytown Road, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Doug Moore, Reverend Grover Nicely, and Reverend Jimmy Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Nicely, Eric Armstrong, Chad Nicely, Matt Nicely, John Nicely, Abdul Sarafandi, Brad Armstrong, and Caleb Armstrong. The family received friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, and other times at the home of Adali and Debbie Nicely, 214 Morgan Drive, Clifton Forge.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is in charge of arrangements.
