Obituary for Charles Winfred McFaddin, Sr. Charles Winfred McFaddin, Sr.
Rockbridge Native Was Telephone Company Worker

Charles Winfred McFaddin, Sr., 62, of Lexington, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born April 17, 1949 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Guy Winfred McFaddin and Helen Ludwick McFaddin.

Charles worked all his life with Centel, Sprint, and Embarq telephone companies.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and walking.

Surviving are one son, Charles Winfred McFaddin, Jr. of Lexington; two brothers, Kenneth Wayne McFaddin and family of Moneta; Everett Dean McFaddin and family of NC.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home. At Charles's request, instead of bringing food to the house, please donate it to your local food bank.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Rockbridge County Sheriff's Department to help them protect themselves and us or donate to whomever is running against Obama.
