He was preceded in death by his father, James Aquel Rowsey; his brother, James Gordon Rowsey, and his sister, Trina Gail Golden.

Robert is survived by his fiance, Debbie Young; his mother, Betty J. Rowsey; three sisters, Betty Louise Staton, Louella Victoria Lawson and husband, Doug, and Reva R. Wampler; his daughter, Jennifer L. Haggard and his special niece, Christina M. Lawhorne, and other loving nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed.

Due to Robert's request, there will be no viewing or funeral. No more sitting on the side lines, he will be hearing the music and flat-footin' in Heaven.
