Willard Donald Parker, 76, of Lexington, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Heritage Hall.

Born June 16, 1935 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Tucker Parker, Sr. and Mabel Potter Parker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tucker Parker, Jr. and Earnest H. Parker.

Willard retired from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company after many years of service and was a member of the VFW Post 1499.

Surviving are his sister, Florence Jean Parker of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Barbara Atkinson, Betty Sorrell, Earnest H. Parker, Jr. and Brenda Seay, all of Richmond.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery with the Bishop Jared Huntsman, Bishop Leon Wilhelm, and the Rev. Tony Nix officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
