Bessie Webb Reynolds, 79, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at her daughter's home in Durham, NC.

Born October 3, 1932 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Harrison W. Webb and Mitty Webb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, David Walter Reynolds.

Bessie retired from Burlington Industries after 25 years of service.

Surviving are her children, David Harrison Reynolds and wife, Mary of Natural Bridge, VA; Sharon Leigh Reynolds of Durham, NC; Denise Renee Scruggs and husband, David of Forest, VA; two brothers, Virgil Webb of Natural Bridge, VA; Eugene Webb of Meadows of Dan; companion of 14 years, Lee Campbell; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
