Clarence Bransford (Junior) Campbell, Jr., age 62, of 319 Second Avenue (Triangle Hill), Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence.

He was born March 4, 1950 in Alleghany County, Virginia, to the late Clarence Bransford Campbell, Sr. and Helen Rhea Campbell.

He was a crew member for the Virginia Department of Transportation and attended Central Advent Christian Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Morris Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Campbell; two sons, Mike Campbell, and Matt Campbell and wife, Brenda; a sister, Betty Hague; all of Clifton Forge; three grandchildren, A.J. Campbell, Dakota Campbell, and Brandi Campbell; a number of nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews, Danny Hague, Jody "Squeaky" Hague and wife, Dena, Jenny Via and husband, Chris, and Jaime Stump and husband, Brad; and a special friend, Hugh Shifflett.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gene Peters officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
