Trinity Baptist Church Charter Member Dies At Age 87
Zernie Curtis Gunn, 87, formerly of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday morning, March 28, 2012, at The Woodlands in Clifton Forge.
Mrs. Gunn was born May 20, 1924, in Covington a daughter of the late E. Lee and
Anna Mae Brown Curtis.
She was a Charter Member of Trinity Baptist Church and a longtime member of the church choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elnora Fertig.
Surviving are four daughters, Zernie Darlene Titsworth and her husband, Richard, of Old Hickory, TN, Ms. Virgil Eugenia Gunn of Vinton, Elizabeth Marie Crowder and her husband, Wayne, of Eden, NC and Lee Anna Fulk of Richmond and two
grandchildren.
The family received friends Friday evening at Arritt Funeral Home
The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.
Interment was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
