Obituary for Gary Osburn (G.O.) Campbell Gary Osburn (G.O.) Campbell
Worked with MeadWestvaco For 35 Years

Gary Osburn (G.O.) Campbell, 59 of 111 Dunlap Beach Lane, Covington, Virginia, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital.

He was born September 7, 1952 in Hot Springs, a son of the Mary Miller Campbell of Covington.

Gary Served his country with the United States Navy.

He was employed by MeadWestVaco for 35 years and was currently a roll inspector on the # 2 paper machine.

He was a proud father and grandfather. Gary enjoyed home remodeling, gardening, being outside and loved his truck.

He was preceded in death by his father Osburn "Ozzie" Campbell and also by a grandson, Andrew Ginart in 2006.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamulla Murphy-Campbell of Covington; one son, Charles Murphy of Covington; five daughters, Crystal Palella-Long and her husband, Daniel; Wendy Campbell-Montgomery and her husband, Wayne; Jessica Palella; Heather Wolfe and Steven Gibson, all of Covington and Susan Rohr and her husband, Bob of Alliance, OH; 22 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; three brothers, Dennis L. Campbell of Covington; Wesley S. Campbell, and Jody Campbell and his wife, Nadine of Hot Springs; a special friend and brother in law, Tony Murphy of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shorty Wolfe officiating.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the funeral home.

In keeping with his wishes, G.O.'s body will be cremated following the service.
