West Virginia Native Was Former Greenbrier Hotel Supervisor

Luetta Isabelle Morgan Bennett, 90, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Clifton Forge.

She was born April 14, 1921 at Alderson West Virginia, a daughter of the late Samuel and Ada Morgan.

She retired from the Greenbrier Hotel in 1989 as a Supervisor in the Uniform Room.

She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in White Sulphur Spring, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bennett in 1965 and six sisters and two brothers.

The funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel.

The family received friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home and will at other times at the home of Wanda and Dewey Kirk, 1007 Cherokee Trail, Covington, VA.

Surviving are her son, Merle L. Bennett and his wife, Betty of White Sulphur Springs, WV; her daughter, Wanda Kirk and her husband, Dewey of Covington; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Howard of Ronceverte, WV and Faye Withrow of Lewisburg and special friends, Jerry and Wanda Molton of Lewisburg.

The interment was made in the Adwell Cemetery in Ronceverte, WV.
