Obituary for John Frank Ayers John Frank Ayers
Co-Owner Of Kreider Ayers & Associates Dies At Age 68

John Frank Ayers, 68, of 105 Wildlife Lane, Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at his residence.

He was born December 17, 1943 in West Virginia to the late Ed B. and Bertha E. Ayers.

He was a co-owner of Kreider Ayers & Associates Inc. of Roanoke.

He served in the United States Army in Germany.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ayers.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Ayers, of Covington; a daughter, Meggan Dane Ayers, of Iron Gate; a son, Jonathan Creed Ayers, of Covington; two sisters, Dessie Baker, of West Virginia and Sue Hunter, of Maryland; two brothers, Richard Ayers, of Covington and Don Ayers, of Arkansas. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and special friends, the Buchanan and the Tingler families.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge and any time at the residence of 105 Wildlife Lane, Covington. In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the visitation.
