Obituary for Batista (Curly) Parolari Batista (Curly) Parolari
Retired From Natural Bridge After 20 Years

Batista (Curly) Parolari, 97, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at his home.

Born July 9, 1914 in Tennessee, he was the son of the late Bertolo Parolari and Mossie Isabel Brock Parolari.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Mae Cummins Parolari.

Curly was a member of the High Bridge Presbyterian Church, Glasgow Masonic Lodge #233, and retired from Natural Bridge, Inc. after twenty years of service.

Surviving are his children, Mildred P. Webb, Isabel P. Miller and husband, Cleland, all of Natural Bridge; Margaret P. Boyd and husband, Don; four grandchildren, Regina Boyd; Maxine Boyd; Stan Boyd all of Richmond; Frank and Kelly Clayton of TN; and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., April 12, 2012 at High Bridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jason Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at High Bridge Presbyterian Cemetery with Masonic Rights.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice P.O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450 or to the playground fund at High Bridge Presbyterian Church Treasurer, 956 Stoner Hollow Road, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579.
