Emma Tomlin Watts, 91, of Buena Vista, Virginia, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Watts, Sr.; her parents, Howard and Nettie Tomlin; three brothers, Howard, Ben, and Bill Tomlin; and a sister, Martha Nixon.

She is survived by a beloved sister, Shirley Tomlin Wilmore; four sons and their spouses, Ralph "Mac" Watts, Jr., and Judy; Brian Watts, Sr., and Mary; Joe Watts and Gill; Paul Watts and Kay; grandchildren and spouses, Chris Watts and DeeDee; Brian Watts, Jr. and Becky; Kelly Butler and Kenny; Kelsea Watts, and Michael Paul Watts; step-grandchildren, Amy Anita, Franklin and Stacey; six great-grandchildren; eleven step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a beloved member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Emma retired from Burlington Industries after forty years of service.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Buena Vista Presbyterian Church with the Rev. George Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
