Obituary for Oleita Kemp Weeks Oleita Kemp Weeks
Fairfield Presbyterian Church Member Dies At Age 99

Oleita Kemp Weeks, 99, of Fairfield, Virginia, died Saturday May 19, 2012 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born September 3, 1912 in Montgomery County near Radford VA, she was a daughter of the late William Albert Kemp and Katherine Elizabeth Harris Kemp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse T. Weeks; five brothers, three sisters, two daughters and a son-in-law.

Mrs. Weeks became a member of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church in 1944. Before that she was a member of the Old Stone Timber Ridge Church, where she taught Sunday school.

She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Tyree, of Crozet; a son, Jackie T. Weeks and wife, Sara; three grandsons, Larry Thomas Heslep, Timmy Jo Heslep and William Templeton Weeks; granddaughter, Lori Ann Bare and husband, Booper; four great granddaughters, Ashley Patterson and husband, Travis, Megan Bare, Amber Heslep, Carrie Williams and husband, Chad; two great grandsons, Tyler Bare, Ethan Weeks and a great-great grandson, Chad Williams.

A funeral service will be conducted 11a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Fairfield Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Carl Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Harrison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield Presbyterian Church, 5508 N. Lee Highway, Fairfield, VA 24435 or a charity of your choice.
