Michael Edward Austin, 51, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born February 18, 1961 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of Serena G. Thomas Austin and the late James A. "Pepsie"Austin.

In addition to his father. he was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Ray Austin; brother-in-law, Sheldon G. Snead; and one nephew, Joshua Austin.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his siblings, Susie Huffman and husband John "Buck" Huffman; Francis E. Snead; Curtis L. Austin and wife, Donna G. Austin; Earnest F. Austin and wife Sharon M. Austin; Greg B. Austin and wife Becky G. Austin; one foster brother, Emmett Falls; ten nieces and nephews; four great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Arnolds Valley with the Rev. Carol Garrett and the Rev. Sonny Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
