Betty Jo Tomlin Huffman, 71, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born May 19, 1941 in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph S. Tomlin and Mary Henson Tomlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Gayle Tomlin.

Surviving are her husband, James E. "Jimmy" Huffman of Buena Vista; daughter, Mary Lawana Huffman; two sisters, Eleanor T. Davis and husband, Wayne; Dorothy Faye Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews; special companions, Lucy, Suzy, Mojo, and Sassy.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. W. A. Mills and the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
