Mrs. Helen Cook Frame, age 80, of Covington, Virginia, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Bath County Community Hospital, Hot Springs.

She was the wife of the late Edsel Ray Frame, Sr.

Mrs. Frame was born March 23, 1932 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Vincent Herbert Cook and Alice Walton Cook.

She was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1949. Mrs. Frame was a former employee of Fryes Esso, Roses, Aides, Magic Mart and was also employed as a caregiver.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Mrs. Frame is survived by two sons, Edsel Ray Frame, Jr. and wife, Becky, James Vincent Frame and wife, Amanda; one daughter, Susan Frame Taylor and husband, Michael; five grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Megan Taylor, Sarah Frame, James Taylor and Alissa Frame; one sister, Betty C. Kern of Covington; and an number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vincent Herbert Cook and Alice Walton Cook, and her husband, Edsel Ray Frame, Sr., Mrs. Frame was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin L. Cook and Robert D. Cook and one sister, Olivia C. McCormick.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Cole officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. Pembroke Hall. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends on Sunday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
