Lois Seay Henson passed away June 9, 2012 in Newport News, Va.

Mrs. Henson was born in Buena Vista, Va.

She served as Clerk of the Court in the city of Staunton for 17 years.

She was a charter member of the Quota Club of Staunton and a member of the Clerk's Association.

Mrs. Henson is survived by two daughters, Vicki Henson of Chilhowie, Va. and Marla H. Brown of Newport News, Va. She is also survived by one step-granddaughter, Angie Brown of Philadelphia, Pa; one niece, Anita Proffitt and husband Bruce, of Clifton Forge, Va.; one nephew, Steve Driscoll and wife, Donna of Richmond, Va; special friends, Carolyn Snider, Kay Buchanan, Rosalie Koontz and Susan Sneed.

Mrs. Henson was preceded in death by her parents, George and Daisy Seay of Buena Vista, Va.; her sister, Dallas Seay Gibson, and her son-in-law, Henry Brown.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 12 from 11 a.m.-12:30 with service at 12:30 at Bolling Grose & Lotts Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Va. Pastor Butch Grow officiated.
