Mary Virginia Myers, 84, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, September 2, 2012.

Born January 22, 1928 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Harry Lee Falls and Alice Baker Riley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew McClung Myers; one sister, Myrtle Louise Tyree, one brother, Melvin Falls, and two nephews, William Edward Tyree and Donald Lynn Tyree.

Mrs. Myers was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church.

Surviving are her five nephews: Wayne Lee Tyree, Marshall Eugene Tyree, Rufus Tyree Jr., Gary Dean Tyree, Bradley Steven Tyree.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the Lexington Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
