Obituary for Blanche Louise Jackson Blanche Louise Jackson
Fairfield Resident Was Retired Federal Government Dietician

Blanche Louise Jackson, 95, of Fairfield, Virgini, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born on May 5, 1917, in Fairfield, she was a daughter of the late Daniel P. and Lelia Eldridge Dickerson.

She was a long-time member of Lawson Chapel and a retired dietician with the federal government.

Surviving are three daughters, Jeanette A. Lanier, of Washington, D.C., Olivia L. Bolden, of New Mexico, and Carolyn L. Jackson, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Genevieve Eaddy, of Largo, Md.; a nephew, Herman Dickerson, of Lexington; seven grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lucy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Dickerson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
