Obituary for Hylton Haynes Lawler Hylton Haynes Lawler
Clifton Forge Native Dies At Age 86

Hylton Haynes Lawler, age 86, of 5134 Glen Meadow Drive, Centreville, Virginia, and formerly of Clifton Forge, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Manorcare Health Services in Fairfax.

She was born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, on September 5, 1926 to the late Daniel and Lena Haynes.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of the Central United Methodist Church.

She was a member of the INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital Auxiliary and also was a member of the Rainbow Ridge Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the United Methodist Women.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Cletus Lawler in 1989; a sister, Charlotte Yaiser; and a brother, William Haynes.

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Lawler of Centreville; a son, Stewart C. Lawler II and wife, Maryann of Bethesda, MD; two granddaughters, Karsyn Lawler and Jillian Lawler; two nephews, James Yaiser and wife, Jackie, Randall Yaiser and wife, Barbara; and a niece, Carolyn Wieczorek and husband, Louie.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend W. Pembroke Hall officiating. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge one hour prior to the service.
